A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts. I use it on my face at night and on the ends of my hair in the morning. Exactly as described on the listing.

Apricot kernel oil is what women in Ladakh and Hunza have used on their faces for as long as anyone can remember, in a climate that would destroy most skin within a week. It is light, silky, almost dry-feeling, and it sinks in without leaving a film — the best beginner facial oil there is.
High in oleic acid and naturally carrying vitamins A and E, it suits dry, dull and mature skin particularly well, and it is mild enough for a baby massage or the skin around the eyes. It is also the standard carrier for facial blends because it does not compete with the essential oils in them.
Cold-pressed from sweet Ladakhi kernels, unrefined, with a faint marzipan aroma. Not to be confused with bitter apricot kernel oil, which is a different product entirely.

The smell is strong, which is how I know it has not been deodorised. A teaspoon massaged into the scalp before washing has made a real difference. Very happy, and I will be reordering.
I have used the supermarket version for years and there is no comparison. A teaspoon massaged into the scalp before washing has made a real difference. Exactly as described on the listing.
Absorbs beautifully without leaving my skin greasy. A teaspoon massaged into the scalp before washing has made a real difference. No hesitation in recommending it.
I have used the supermarket version for years and there is no comparison. It has replaced two other products in my bathroom cabinet. Slightly slower delivery than I expected, but the product itself is excellent.
A little goes a long way, so the bottle lasts. I take a teaspoon each morning with a little honey. Exactly as described on the listing.

Is this cold pressed?
Ellie B. · 3 weeks ago
Yes, and unrefined — which is why the colour and smell vary a little between batches. That variation is the oil doing what it should, not a fault.

Will it clog pores if I use it on my face?
Hassan A. · last month
That varies from person to person. Try it on a small area for a few days before using it all over, and give any new oil a couple of weeks before deciding.

Is the packaging recyclable?
Nikhil S. · 2 months ago
The outer carton is card and goes in with your paper recycling. The inner pouch is kept airtight to protect the contents, so check your local authority's guidance for that part.
