Great find
Scented with real essential oil, and you can tell. It has completely replaced the shower gel we used to buy. Marking it four rather than five only because the smell takes some getting used to.

Most lavender soap smells of lavender fragrance oil, which is a different thing entirely: sweeter, sharper, and gone within a day of unwrapping. This one is scented with genuine lavender essential oil, so the aroma is softer, greener and more herbal — and it holds in the bar.
Lavender is the calming botanical, and this is deliberately an evening bar: a bath or shower with it is the least complicated way to signal to yourself that the day is finished. On skin it is gentle and mildly antiseptic, which makes it a good general-purpose bar for sensitive or irritated skin.
Cold-processed, cured four weeks, jute-wrapped, and free of SLS, parabens and palm oil. Cruelty-free and vegan-friendly throughout.

The jute wrapping is a lovely touch and it went straight in the compost. Even my teenager, who complains about everything, likes it. Exactly as described on the listing.

The jute wrapping is a lovely touch and it went straight in the compost. The last sliver went in a muslin bag for the bath. No hesitation in recommending it.
My skin has settled down noticeably since switching to this. The last sliver went in a muslin bag for the bath. A genuinely good product at a fair price.
The jute wrapping is a lovely touch and it went straight in the compost. I keep one by the kitchen sink and one in the shower. No hesitation in recommending it.

Does it dry the skin out?
Nikhil S. · 3 weeks ago
It's made cold-process with the glycerine left in, so it's gentler than most supermarket bars. If your skin is on the dry side, keep the bar out of standing water between uses and follow with an oil.

How long does one bar last?
Hassan A. · last month
Around four to six weeks with daily use, longer if it's kept on a draining dish rather than sitting in water.

Is the packaging recyclable?
Ellie B. · 2 months ago
The outer carton is card and goes in with your paper recycling. The inner pouch is kept airtight to protect the contents, so check your local authority's guidance for that part.
