No more supermarket soap
Scented with real essential oil, and you can tell. The last sliver went in a muslin bag for the bath. A genuinely good product at a fair price.

Sea buckthorn grows wild across Ladakh and Himachal, where it is called leh berry, and it is one of the very few plant sources of omega-7 (palmitoleic acid) — the fatty acid the skin's own sebum is partly made of. That, plus a carotenoid load high enough to stain everything it touches orange, is why sea buckthorn oil costs what it does.
This bar is built around the fruit and seed oil, for skin that is dry, weather-beaten, mature or slow to heal. It has the deepest natural colour of anything in the range — a genuine burnt orange, entirely from the oil.
Cold-processed, cured four weeks, jute-wrapped. No SLS, parabens, palm oil or added colour of any kind.

My skin has settled down noticeably since switching to this. Even my teenager, who complains about everything, likes it. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged.
The bar is hard and dense, so it lasts weeks rather than days. The last sliver went in a muslin bag for the bath. Very happy, and I will be reordering.
Lathers gently and rinses clean without that tight, stripped feeling. The last sliver went in a muslin bag for the bath. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged.
The jute wrapping is a lovely touch and it went straight in the compost. Bought the three-bar pack as a gift and ended up keeping one. Very happy, and I will be reordering.

Does it dry the skin out?
Meera P. · 4 weeks ago
It's made cold-process with the glycerine left in, so it's gentler than most supermarket bars. If your skin is on the dry side, keep the bar out of standing water between uses and follow with an oil.

How long does one bar last?
Ellie B. · 2 months ago
Around four to six weeks with daily use, longer if it's kept on a draining dish rather than sitting in water.

Do you ship outside the UK?
Nikhil S. · 2 months ago
We do, to most of Europe. Delivery cost and time are shown at checkout once you've entered an address. Some countries restrict certain botanicals on import, so it's worth checking your own customs rules first.

Is it safe during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Hassan A. · 3 months ago
We don't recommend starting any herbal supplement in pregnancy or while breastfeeding without speaking to your midwife or doctor first. Please take the ingredient list to them and follow their advice over ours.
