My skin is much happier
Thick, dark and unrefined, exactly as a cold press should be. A teaspoon massaged into the scalp before washing has made a real difference. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged.

Radish seed oil is the cosmetic chemist's answer to dimethicone. It has an unusually high proportion of long-chain fatty acids, which gives it a slip and a shine on hair that behaves remarkably like a silicone — smoothing the cuticle, taming frizz, adding gloss — except that it washes out cleanly and never builds up.
That is its main job here: a serum oil for the ends of the hair, or a finishing oil after styling, used a couple of drops at a time. On skin it is light, faintly peppery, and useful in an oil cleanse.
Cold-pressed from Haryana mooli seed and unrefined. It is a niche oil that almost no high-street brand sells on its own, and hairdressers who find it tend to keep buying it.

The smell is strong, which is how I know it has not been deodorised. I take a teaspoon each morning with a little honey. Slightly slower delivery than I expected, but the product itself is excellent.
The smell is strong, which is how I know it has not been deodorised. The 250ml is the one to buy — the 100ml went in six weeks. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged.
I have used the supermarket version for years and there is no comparison. A teaspoon massaged into the scalp before washing has made a real difference. Marking it four rather than five only because the smell takes some getting used to.

Is this cold pressed?
Anita R. · 4 weeks ago
Yes, and unrefined — which is why the colour and smell vary a little between batches. That variation is the oil doing what it should, not a fault.

Will it clog pores if I use it on my face?
Ellie B. · last month
That varies from person to person. Try it on a small area for a few days before using it all over, and give any new oil a couple of weeks before deciding.

Is it safe during pregnancy or while breastfeeding?
Rachel M. · 2 months ago
We don't recommend starting any herbal supplement in pregnancy or while breastfeeding without speaking to your midwife or doctor first. Please take the ingredient list to them and follow their advice over ours.

How long does one pack usually last if I'm using it every day?
Rachel M. · 3 months ago
It depends on your dose, but at the amount on the pack most people find a standard size lasts between three and six weeks of daily use. If you're using it occasionally rather than daily, expect considerably longer.
