Arjuna is the cardiac herb of Ayurveda. Charaka and Sushruta both name the bark of Terminalia arjuna as the principal hridya — heart-supporting — botanical, and it has been used for that purpose continuously for something close to three thousand years. It remains among the most-studied Ayurvedic herbs in modern cardiology research.

The bark is astringent and tannin-rich, which makes it unpleasant to take as a powder; capsules are how most people actually manage a course. Each 600mg capsule is milled bark, not an extract, so the dose corresponds to the traditional one.

We use bark harvested from mature trees on rotation — arjuna regenerates its bark, so taking it does not fell the tree. Vegan HPMC shells, amber glass, no fillers.

Happy with this
The glass jar rather than plastic was part of why I chose this. I take mine with breakfast and dinner and it fits easily into the routine. The only thing I would change is the packaging — a resealable zip would help.
