Arrived quickly, well packed
Very strong — I use half as many drops as I did with my previous bottle. The 30ml size is far better value if you use it regularly. Delivery was quick and it was well packaged.

Kafir lime is the knobbly, intensely aromatic citrus of South East Asian cooking, and its peel oil is one of the sharpest, most immediately uplifting aromas in aromatherapy. It smells like lime zest with a green, floral edge — brighter and less sweet than lemon, cleaner than bergamot.
Cold-expressed from the peel rather than distilled, which keeps that fresh-zest character intact. Traditionally the fruit is used in South East Asian hair rinses and scalp treatments as well as in cooking, and the oil carries the same clarifying, slightly astringent quality.
A classic mood-lifting oil for a diffuser, and an excellent top note in blends. Like all cold-pressed citrus oils it is phototoxic, so keep it out of leave-on skincare and off skin that is heading into the sun.

The amber bottle and drop insert are exactly right. I follow the dilution advice on the listing and have had no irritation at all. Slightly slower delivery than I expected, but the product itself is excellent.
This smells like the actual plant, not a fragrance approximation. The 30ml size is far better value if you use it regularly. Exactly as described on the listing.
The amber bottle and drop insert are exactly right. I follow the dilution advice on the listing and have had no irritation at all. Good quality, but stronger than I was expecting and I have had to use much less.

Can I put this straight onto my skin?
Meera P. · 3 weeks ago
No — it's undiluted, and it needs a carrier oil first. A few drops in a tablespoon of a carrier is the usual starting point, and patch-test on a small area before you use it more widely.

Is it pure, or blended with a carrier already?
Meera P. · last month
Pure and undiluted — nothing added. That's why a small bottle goes a very long way, and why it has to be diluted before it touches skin.

How should I store it once it's open?
Tom W. · 2 months ago
Somewhere cool, dark and dry, sealed between uses — a cupboard away from the hob is ideal. Storage guidance for this product specifically is on the Storage tab above.

Do you ship outside the UK?
Ellie B. · 3 months ago
We do, to most of Europe. Delivery cost and time are shown at checkout once you've entered an address. Some countries restrict certain botanicals on import, so it's worth checking your own customs rules first.
