Just what I needed
Very strong — I use half as many drops as I did with my previous bottle. I have blended it with lavender and the result is lovely. The only thing I would change is the packaging — a resealable zip would help.

Celery seed oil has a strange, savoury, almost broth-like aroma that people either take to immediately or not at all. Its reputation, though, has nothing to do with how it smells: celery seed is the classical herb for joints and for fluid balance, in both Ayurveda (ajmod) and Western herbal practice, where it has been used for gout and stiffness for centuries.
As a distilled oil it is used externally, in massage blends over stiff joints and puffy ankles, usually alongside juniper, ginger or black pepper. The compound behind much of the interest is 3-n-butylphthalide, the same molecule that gives celery its scent.
Steam-distilled from Punjabi seed. Strong, so keep it low in a blend — it will dominate anything it is in.

Very strong — I use half as many drops as I did with my previous bottle. Two drops in the diffuser is plenty for a whole room. A genuinely good product at a fair price.
The amber bottle and drop insert are exactly right. Two drops in the diffuser is plenty for a whole room. The only thing I would change is the packaging — a resealable zip would help.
The amber bottle and drop insert are exactly right. I have blended it with lavender and the result is lovely. Marking it four rather than five only because the smell takes some getting used to.
You can tell immediately that this has not been cut with anything. I follow the dilution advice on the listing and have had no irritation at all. Exactly as described on the listing.

Can I put this straight onto my skin?
Meera P. · 4 weeks ago
No — it's undiluted, and it needs a carrier oil first. A few drops in a tablespoon of a carrier is the usual starting point, and patch-test on a small area before you use it more widely.

I dilute mine in sweet almond oil and it's been fine, but definitely patch-test first.

Is it pure, or blended with a carrier already?
Rachel M. · 2 months ago
Pure and undiluted — nothing added. That's why a small bottle goes a very long way, and why it has to be diluted before it touches skin.

Do you ship outside the UK?

We do, to most of Europe. Delivery cost and time are shown at checkout once you've entered an address. Some countries restrict certain botanicals on import, so it's worth checking your own customs rules first.
